World Games of Non-Olympic Sports
pasaulinės neolimpinių sporto šakų žaidynės statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Gana populiarių pasaulyje sporto šakų, nepatekusių į olimpinių sporto šakų sąrašą, kompleksinės varžybos. Pirmosios pasaulinės neolimpinių sporto šakų žaidynės surengtos 1981 m. V pasaulinėse neolimpinių sporto šakų žaidynėse, surengtose 1997 m. Suomijoje, dalyvavo daugiau kaip 2000 sportininkų iš 75 šalių, jie rungėsi dėl 24 apdovanojimų komplektų. Pirmą kartą pasaulinėse neolimpinių sporto šakų žaidynėse dalyvavo ir 8 sportininkai iš Lietuvos: kultūristai, sportinių šokių atstovai ir akrobatai. atitikmenys: angl.
